Azalea Garden Christian School Reviews

My two children attended the school we were happy with the religious teaching however their education was lacking. They were A honor students but as the work got difficult sense the teachers do not really teach they were not of help. They blamed our kids for not getting it and were rude and dismissed us as parents for expressing concern. We pulled our children put them in public school only to find our A honor students were 2 grades below in their learning levels. I found out later that this was quite common at this school and why many of the children didn't leave as parents found out their children would have to repeat grades. Graduates spoke to me of having to take special courses at community college cause they could not test out. Be very careful when sending your children here.

Our son has attended AGCS for 3 years now and we are more than satisfied. We love the Pace program because no student ever feels failure. Our belief is that if you don't conquer mutliplication, you are not ready for division and the PACE program allows you to keep doing it until you understand. Our son is a teenager so the Christian values at AGCS are of great value to our family.

my son goes to this school however my son is the result of a divorce and we share joint legal custody. As far as religious activities and prayer the school is great but as a parent looking at the educational aspects I disagree on their methods. the students are not actually taught by a teacher the students teach themselves basically it is a pace program. it is ver east to get to educationally advanced wich sometimes can be good and can be bad on growth development and peer to peer development. I try very hard to make sure that my son understands what his work is and the problems because the paces they hand out are so easy to do. If school was this easy as his paces are when i went to school i would have straight a's every year.

Our son has attended the Axalea Garden Christian School from Kindergarten through the twelth grade. The staff has become our family and have partnered with us to raise our son. We are very grateful for this long-term relationship!

Thank you God for this school. I didn't want my son to go to public school and get lost in the system. I wanted him to be able to say 'grace' before eating, a public school doesn't let him. At AGCS they pray every day and the teachers really care about the students. The system helps the students set daily goals and work towards completing them, I think this is great practice for 'real life'. But most importantly, they teach the children about our Savior Jesus Christ. They have chapel services and study the Bible, one of the school's missions is to teach the students how to be disciples of Christ. Jesus bless AGCS!

Azalea Garden Christian School is a great starting place for your child's foundation. Even though the school goes up to the 12th grade, I will only speak on our experience. My child has attended AGCS from K5 though now 3rd grade. She has really evolved! Her knowledge of the bible and all of her subjects from math to science have enlightened her as to how she can apply each area to every day living. Her dad and I have learned a lot just through her homework and other activities. The school also offers extra curricular activities from sports to the arts. They have missions and chapel to teach the children how to give and help others as Jesus taught his disciples. If you're looking to give your child a positive, motivating and goal-oriented environment, then Azalea Garden Christian School is for you!
